A Deeper Understanding Of What We Do, Why We Do it And What Service Is Best For You

More About Paint Correction

Paint correction, also known as machine polishing, is a professional detailing process that removes imperfections from a vehicle’s paintwork—such as swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation, and haze—caused by improper washing or environmental damage. Using a two-stage polishing method, specialised polishing machines, and compounds, the process carefully levels the clear coat (lacquer) to restore clarity, depth, and gloss to the paint. Having paint correction performed not only dramatically improves the visual appearance of your car but also helps preserve its value and prepares the surface for long-lasting protection, such as a ceramic coating. This is the most effective way to bring life back into your car.

Please note: This service can remove up to 100% of scratches on your vehicle; however, any areas with damage to the lacquer, or scratches that have penetrated through the lacquer, may still be visible. In severe cases where contamination could interfere with the paint correction process, we may also need to clay bar the vehicle beforehand.

More About Clay Baring

Clay barring is a detailing process that removes bonded surface contaminants from your vehicle’s paint—contaminants that regular washing can’t eliminate, such as brake dust, tree sap, and road tar. Using a specialised clay bar and lubricant, detailers gently glide the clay across the paint, lifting out these impurities. The result is an ultra-smooth surface that feels like glass to the touch. While clay barring effectively removes surface contaminants, it does not correct imperfections in the paint itself. This is why polishing is important afterwards—it restores the paint’s gloss and clarity, which may still appear dull even after clay barring.

Please note: This service may be necessary to prepare the surface of your paint for a protective coating, such as ceramic coating.

More About Ceramic Coating

Ceramic coating chemically bonds with your vehicle’s paint, creating a durable, long-lasting protective layer. This advanced technology provides superior resistance to UV rays, bird droppings, and road grime. Unlike traditional waxes or sealants, ceramic coatings can last for years—not months—offering deep gloss and enhanced colour clarity. Their hydrophobic (water-repelling) properties make your car significantly easier to clean and maintain.

In addition to a high-gloss finish, ceramic coatings offer light scratch resistance and protect against fading caused by sun exposure. While they don’t make your vehicle maintenance-free, they drastically reduce the need for frequent detailing. Our professionally applied ceramic coating can protect your car for up to three years, provided it is properly maintained.

Please note: A full paint correction should be performed, and any paint damage should be rectified before a ceramic coating is applied. Any work done to the paint afterward would require removing and reapplying the coating.
